Artist Statement
Words become conflated with gesture: three dimensional sculptural writing occupies a tangible place between historical record, literary endeavors, and the fragile human spirit. These shapes coax imagination; they become love poems, shadows, distant songs, and scripts of immigrants. I am interested in telling stories through multiple voices, uncovering narratives layered within physical sites, and reinstating presence using a light touch.
