Artist Statement
My work uses rational systems to develop uncertain destinations. Seeds of thought are fertile shapes with potential to create new patterns. Digital and analog formations cross-pollinate into a nomadic interplay of unknown possibilities in structure.

Each work I make begins a journey into improvised territory. The beginning of this exploration starts with the material itself. By bending, sawing, turning and manipulating wood, a sense of the potential and limitations of the form evolves. These manipulations are then duplicated serially to create a larger structure by combining the many variations of the similar module.
