Statement
The dialogue between reason and chance and between what is perceived as natural and artificial offer conflicts and similarities that illuminate range in a binary obsessed world. My work attempts to use logical organization mechanisms to achieve broader complexity and specificity. Included here: Section House, a prefabricated, permutable, branded housing prototype. IHI Factory, an environmentally responsive building component factory that mediates industry and community by consolidating public and industrial uses. Urban Garden, a coffee table fabricated from a single mahogany board without material waste. Siting explorations for a community center at the Sutro Bath ruins utilizing the reassembly of 2D perspectival images.
